Newport High School & FoNR
Friends of Newport Rugby have been forging strong links with the U18 Academy at Newport High School to try and bring through the next generation of Black & Amber players.
The Trust finance the academy via Newport RFC to help provide a coaching role which Rhys Jenkins fulfils. The best of the youngsters also train once a week with Newport RFC and we have started to see the first of them pull on the famous jersey this season.
