From Current & Former Players 'In the ten years that I have been associated with Newport RFC it has meant many different things to me.' 'As a 17 year old, to be welcomed into such a world renowned club was an eye opener. Nowhere have I been made more welcome by everyone from the supporters through the office staff to the players and coaches as I have been at Newport RFC.' 'It has been more than a rugby club to me, more like a way of life. I have made many friends including players, supporters and ground staff etc. that I would never have met if it wasn't for this great institution.' 'On top of that I am extremely lucky to get paid for what I love doing but even if the game hadn't turned professional some years ago, I'm sure I would still be pulling on a black and amber jersey with my only payment being to get to share a beer and a joke or three with the many members of Newport RFC.'
