1977 Cup winners dinner
Friends of Newport Rugby hosted an excellent anniversary dinner on Friday to celebrate 40 years since Newport beat Cardiff in the Welsh cup final. FoNR hosted the event with captain Colin Smart and British Lions Gareth Evans and David Burcher also taking to the stage to hold a Q&A with the players and coaches. Highlights of the game were shown and many tales told about the heroics of that game and the season.
