Will Callaghan - Up for the Cup
It's been a long time coming but at last we witnessed a bright spot in the season as William Callaghan took the nod to be mascot for the Black and Ambers as they hosted Aberavon in the cup. A recent visit to the Talbot Athletic Ground ahd seen Newport stutter up front and come up second best. This was to be a tall order. Young Will undertook his task with great enthusiasm and after meeting up with favourite player Owen Broad and taking a sneaky peek in the Newport changing room, he lead out the Mighty 'Port with skipper Olllie Griffiths before Newport slugged out a win to progress in the cup.
