The new league season is almost upon us and the pre-season
friendlies are underway. As ever, Friends of Newport Rugby will be actively
supporting our club through volunteer effort and fundraising.
FoNR coordinate most of the advertising and sponsorship of
the Newport RFC team and this is a request that goes out to all of you as
supporters. Do you know of any local businesses, individuals or groups of
supporters who would be interested in sponsoring a player, match, ball or maybe
placing an advert in the match programme? All of these are available.
Have a think about the shops and businesses that you use? Is
there a contact that could be followed up? Can you open the door for FoNR to
follow up? That would be a great way of helping us and the club.
Have a think about pubs, clubs, garages, corner shops, hairdressers, fast food outlets,
bakeries, chemists etc. The opportunities are endless!
You can really make a difference if you want to.
