February player of the Month - Dan Robinson
Dan Robinson has been voted the February 2013 Player of the Month by the Newport RFC supporters. Dan has struggled with injury during the early part of the season but has now started to find his form as he overcomes a leg problem. His strong running and hand-offs have been a trademark of his performances. Dan is seen receiving his award from Steve Williams of the St Julian pub on Caerleon Road, Newport. Steve and his business partner Mary Nelmes have run the St Julian for 25 years and this year are sponsoring Dan. Friends of Newport Rugby arrange player sponsors for all of the Newport squad and prices range from £250 - £1000.
