Return of the Saints
Four seasons ago FoNR provided sponsorship for a new venture at St.Julians High School Old Boys RFC to help them kick off three junior teams. We are incredibly satisfied to now report that there are over a hundred youngsters playing for the club in six teams from U7 up to U13. On Saturday the U13 and U12 were on parade to provide the Guard of Honour for the Llandovery and Newport teams as they ran out on the the World Famous Rodney Parade turf. Over the next two home games we will see more of the green and red jerseys in evidence as all the teams will come to see the Black and Ambers play. The boys were given a skills session first with FoNR Coach Joe Crocker before the game which they took part in with great enthusiasm. Nick Jackson. FoNR Community Rep' |
