The Friends of Newport Rugby Trust recently held their 2nd Annual Horse Racing Evening at Rodney Parade.
The excited crowd had a fun evening placing fun bets on the races on the BIG screen as a selection Newport RFC players (Dale Rogers, Scott Sneddon, Adam Frampton and Carl Townsend) took the bets and showed their competitiveness in their very own 'Trainers Cup Competition', won narrowly by Adam Frampton!
The evening was rounded off with a raffle where some lucky attendees won some prizes presented by the players.
FoNR would like to thank Newport RFC for their support and the supporters who came out and helped to raise much needed funds for rugby ventures in Newport the area.
