Eveswell School. First Guests of the Season
No season would be complete without a visit from Eveswell Junior School. This time a lively team of boys and girls came to Rodney Parade for a skill session with FoNR Junior Coach, Joe Crocker. Eveswell are the first team to try out our new training aid, generously supplied by Discount Tyres. Dave Jones the manager at their Newport Outlet was in attendance to see the youngsters trying it out. The Trust would like to thank Dave and Discount Tyres for their support of rugby at Rodney Parade. Eveswell went on to form the Guard of Honour for the Bedwas and Newport teams as they took to the park, and kept up the vocal support for Newport throughout a thrilling and close game. Nick Jackson.
