Experienced Alfie Kicks Off New Season
11 year old Alfie Humphreys was one of our first mascots some six seasons ago so it was very special for us to have him back again to start proceedings this season. Alfie met his favourite player Sam Waldron before kick off and led out the team with skipper Dai Pattison. Unfortunately his inspiration was not heeded as Newport slumped to a shock defeat to Llanelli which took the gloss off the occasion. Nick Jackson. FoNR Community Rep. |
