St. Josephs U10 On Parade.
This was the first time a team from the famous St. Josephs RFC in Newport have made an appearance at Rodney Parade as a Guard of Honour. They arrived promptly and took part in a pre-match training session with FoNR Youth Rep', Joe Crocker, ably assisted by try machine Owen Broad and World Cup Winner Craig Hill. The youngsters put in a good shift before forming the Guard of Honour for the players of both visiting Swansea and Newport as they took to the park. On the way through the ground, they got to sit on the Newport bench. Hilly and Broady were still present at the time so perhaps one of them may be joining the under elevens next season? Nick Jackson.
