Lauren Keeps the Light Burning
On a day when Newport sunk to an all time low, bowing out on the cup to a spirited and determined Ebbw Vale team, there was one bright light shining amidst the murk. Twelve year old Lauren who always makes a wlecome appearance as a mascot for Newport lead out the team with skipper Andy Brown. Lauren comes from a family of committed Newport Supporters. The Trust rely on staunch supporters such as these to pull us all through when the chips are down. Lauren met up with her all time favourite player Scott Williams before kick off.
