Mascot Scheme Kicked Off for New Season The scheme run between the Trust and the Supporters Club has been launched again for the new season. Names have been added to the list already with some familiar faces and one or two new ones already in already. If you want your child to be considered for this scheme then please contact a committee member of the Trust or Supporters Club. Please note that members of both organisations will take priority but we make all efforts to fit everyone in. Mascots all receive a complimentary polo shirt and some tickets for themselves and their family. They also appear in the programme and get to meet their favourite Newport Hero and have pictures taken with them. They then lead out the team with the captain. The whole occasion is recorded on the Trust website for prosperity. Photo's for the programme were being taken at the Mosely friendly when we had a wind related hair problem, not helped at all by the intrusion of a 'celebrity'.
