FoNR help Newport at 7's This weekend will see Newport RFC try to retain their title as Men Of Gwent 7’s champions. The Black and Ambers won the event last August and will be hoping to repeat that performance at Rodney Parade on Saturday starting at 12:00. Craig Hill leads the side that is expected to include some of the new recruits including wings Ryan Owen, David James and Alex Cuthbert as well as current Newport RFC player of the year Mike Poole. Friends of Newport Rugby will be helping the team in a small way by providing them with training shirts to wear between the matches. Kev Jarvis |
