Morgan Joins the Team Morgan May, a young player from the Newport High School Old Boys club was our latest mascot and ran out in front of the crowd before Newport put Bedwas to the sword. A focused captain, Andy Coombs, nearly forgot to take Morgan with him onto the pitch but remembered at the last minute and all was well. Morgan came fully kitted out in jersey, shorts and brand new black and amber socks. Morgan has been producing a school project about Newport Great, A.J. 'Monkey' Gould. A few requests for information seem to have galvanised the history experts and he now has a rich vein of information to tap into. We are all keen to see the results. Nick Jackson.
