FoNR Community Sponsorship
As reported previously, the Trust sponsored NHSOB U10 to the tune of £450 for training gear, marker flags and poles, tackle bags and the like. Most junior and mini teams are self funding and parents, coaches and volunteers usually have to spend a lot of time fundraising to have the team playing on a weekly basis. The Trust have a committment to the community and what better way to achieve this than by helping out to encourage the rugby stars of the future. On Tuesday night the boys were our guests at Rodney Parade and gave a very vocal and enthusiastic support for Newport in their impressive victory over close rivals Cardiff.
