Take-over Consortium - FoNR Statement As most people will have seen there has been much speculation on the TV and in the local papers regarding the future of the Newport Gwent Dragons and proposals for a new stadium. Friends of Newport Rugby have already been in contact with the Rodney Parade Ltd senior management and the directors of the club. At present there is no more information available regarding the consortium or any firm proposals. The future of Newport RFC is the primary concern of F.O.N.R and we will continue in our efforts to gain information and will monitor the situation tirelessly. All members of the F.O.N.R. committee are passionate about our club and we will work ceaselessly to help underpin the future of Newport RFC. Kev Jarvis |
