Last Mascot of the Season The original date for the Newport v Pontypridd match was back in the depths of winter and was postponed due to a frozen pitch. Young Rhys Harries has had to wait several months for his big occasion and was rewarded for his patience with a fine sunny day. Rhys who attends Duffryn Comprehensive School in Newport met his favourite player, Scot Williams before kick off and then joined the Newport Team in the tunnel before running out with captain, Dai Pattison.
