Bethan Jackson and Ethan Brussalis On Saturday 30th December, Newport returned to winning ways with an important win over local rivals Bedwas. The FoNR Trust were represented on the day by two mascots, Bethan Jackson and Ethan Brussalis. Ethan who is eleven and attends St. Julians Comprehensive school is a big fan of Dan Griffiths, but Dan was unwell on the day so we were lucky enough to have Mike Poole make an appearance. Ethan and I were guessing that Dan had eaten too much turkey over Christmas and it had disagreed with him. Get well soon Dan. Bethan is ten years old and attends Clytha Primary school. She is also involved with the 'Same Old Faces' team who are sponsoring Ryan Howells this season. She was able to meet Ryan and Mike before kick off. Ethan opted to stay on the bench at kick off time and Bethan ran out with captain Scott Williams onto a soaking wet and windy Rodney Parade.
