Pill Harriers U13 and U14 On Saturday 16th September, the Trust invited Pill Harriers U13 and U14 to Rodney Parade to receive some of the proceeds from the summer's Transporter Bridge visit. Pill play their rugby in the shadow of the famous landmark so it seemed appropriate. The boys turned up and formed the now traditional guard of honour for the players of both Maesteg and Newport as they took to the pitch. They then ran across the hallowed turf to a rousing cheer from the crowd before watching Newport score five tries to win by a healthy margin. Pill Harriers run various age group sides and are always on the lookout for new recruits.
