Latest News from Newport HSOB! NHSOB Youth looked the part on Saturday both on and off the field. On the field the old boys notched up a notable victory over fierce rivals Pontypool United and the players looked the part in their after match shirts thanks to the valuable sponsorship of the Friends of Newport Rugby Trust. The old boys continued their winning streak in a hard fought encounter at home to Pontypool United. The result of 10 points to 3 highlights how close the game was throughout. HSOB showed grit and determination in abundance and battled to the end to a well-deserved victory that puts them joint top in the league with one game to play. NHSOB posted there highest ever score beating New Tredegar 126 point with out reply in a monumental team performance. As the score suggests the old boys put in a magnificent show knowing the league would undoubtedly go down to points difference. Now the WRU have the task of analysing the seasons league results.
