FoNR sponsor Newport RFC for the 2006/07 Season The Trust is pleased to be able to say that it is continuing to help support the Newport RFC squad by helping them prepare for the new season. The players return to training next week under the guidance of head coach Ian Hembrow who will be assisted by forwards coach Sven Cronk and new backs coach Mike Sage. FoNR are helping out by providing hydration kits (water bottles etc.) for the players that will be vital during the busy training schedule of the summer months and then during the matches next season. Newport team manager Phil Ramsey said 'He was very grateful to Friends of Newport Rugby for continuing the excellent work they do in helping support the Newport RFC team. We aim to start the season well and be prepared and ready to go. The hydration kits will be of great benefit to the players.' During the 2006/07 season FoNR will again work hard to support the Newport team and we need all of the help, both volunteer and financial, that we can get to do this.
