All adults (i.e. over 16 years of age) can join the Trust as full members. Full membership entitles the member to a vote at the Trust’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) as well as other Trust member meetings such as an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) and Trust member ballots.

There are a number of ways in which an adult can join the Trust as a full member and these are outlined in the table below:

Membership Type Annual Fee
Full Rate £10
Concessionary Rate (i.e. Students over 16; Senior citizens) £5
Life Membership (one off payment) £200

In order to apply for membership the applicant needs to complete the Trust’s Full Membership Application Form (Form O) which can be obtained either from the Trust table in the clubhouse main hall on match days (Newport RFC or Newport Gwent Dragons) or from this website.

The completed form should then be returned to the Trust by handing it to an officer of the Trust at the Trust table or alternatively, by sending the completed form(s) to:-

The Treasurer,
Friends of Newport Rugby Trust Fund,
c/o Newport Rugby Football Club Ltd.,
Rodney Road,
Newport,
NP19 0UU.

Please note that you should also include your payment for the annual subscription fee.

Payments can be made by:-

  • cash
  • cheque (payable to ‘Friends of Newport Rugby Trust’)
  • standing order (by completing the standing order slip at the bottom of the application form or alternatively using a Subscription Standing Order Form (Form S) which can be obtained from the Trust table on match days or downloaded from this website).

Existing members and new applicants are reminded that in addition to the basic membership of the Trust we also offer the facility for members to make regular donations to the fund on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis via standing order payments from their bank account. Existing members or new applicants who are interested in taking advantage of this facility should complete a

Donation Standing Order Mandate (Form D)

and return it to the Trust as previously described.

(All forms are in Adobe Acrobat Version 6 format, if you don't have a copy of the latest reader you can download it free from the Adobe website). If you have an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer you may experience problems, such as a blank document.
