As part of the Trust's Community programme we are helping local schools collect tokens for books or cash. Last year we collected more than 1500 tokens. The scheme is run by Nestle and is called Box Tops for Books. The official website can be found at:

If you have any tokens that you can donate, then please give them to the Trust who will then give them to local schools who participate in the scheme.

Q. What are the dates of this scheme?
A. The scheme runs from September 2004 to 31 March 2005. You can collect Box Tops tokens during the summer months and redeem them during the following school year, up to 31st March.

Q. How much is each Box Tops for Education token worth?
A. Each token is worth 10p or can be exchanged for books (minimum of 10 tokens for one book).
Q. Can I still use the previous tokens for the new Box Tops for Books scheme?
A. Yes. Both the new and old design of Box Tops tokens can be redeemed for Books by registered schools as long as the token is within its validity date.
